Milling method: direct milled teeth formed with a special contour on the universal milling cutter, with milling teeth by the tooth points dividing head; If not form cutter, can also be a two disk milling cutter teeth while both sides of the teeth by milling and then with a well bottom diameter of the disc cutters slightly trimmed.
3. Grinding method: Grind the spline tooth side and bottom diameter on the spline shaft grinder with a shaped grinding wheel.

Its characteristics: The tooth profile is involute, and there is a radial force on the tooth when it is loaded, which can play a self-centering function, so that the tooth is uniformly stressed, with high strength and long service life. The processing technology is the same as that of gears, and it is easy to obtain higher precision and interchangeability.
