CNC Technology for Turned Parts
Do more and faster with the wide variety of functions of the CNC lathe
Turning is a machining process used to make cylindrical parts, in which the cutting tool moves in a linear fashion while the workpiece rotates. Commonly performed with a lathe, turning reduces the diameter of a workpiece, usually to a specified dimension, and gives the part a smooth finish. A turning center is a lathe with a computerized numerical control. Sophisticated turning centers can also perform a wide variety of milling and drilling operations.
