Aluminum profile is a product manufactured by extrusion of aluminum and other alloy elements. Usually it is processed into castings, forgings, foils, plates, strips, tubes, rods, profiles, etc. first. Then it is made by cold bending, sawing, drilling, assembling, and coloring. The main metal element is aluminum, and some alloying elements are added to improve the performance of aluminum.

Mainly used for industrial production and manufacturing, such as automated machinery and equipment, the frame of the enclosure, and the molds customized by each company according to their own mechanical equipment requirements. For example, assembly line conveyor belts, hoists, glue dispensers, testing equipment, shelves and so on. Used in the electronic machinery industry and clean rooms.

Aluminum profiles are classified by alloy composition
It can be divided into alloy grade aluminum profiles such as 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, and 7075, among which 6 series are the most common. The difference between different grades is that the proportions of various metal components are different. In addition to commonly used door and window aluminum profiles such as 60 series, 70 series, 80 series, 90 series, curtain wall series and other architectural aluminum profiles. There is no clear model distinction for industrial aluminum profiles. Most manufacturers process them according to the actual drawings of customers.

Inferior characteristics of aluminum profiles
Extrusion defects. In the process of aluminum extrusion, whether the extrusion equipment is complete, whether the extrusion process is mature and whether the operation is improper. Defects such as bubbles, inclusions, layering, chromatic aberration, distortion, etc. will occur, which will affect the quality of aluminum profiles.
The oxide film is thin. National standards stipulate that the oxide film thickness of architectural aluminum profiles should not be less than 10um (micrometers). If the thickness is not enough, the surface of the aluminum profile is easy to rust and corrode. In the random inspection, some aluminum profiles without production name, factory location, production license, and qualification certificate have an oxide film thickness of only 2 to 4um, and some even have no oxide film. According to experts' estimates, for every reduction of 1um oxide film thickness, each ton of profile can reduce electricity consumption costs by more than 150 yuan.
The chemical composition is unqualified. The aluminum profile mixed with a large amount of miscellaneous aluminum and scrap aluminum can greatly reduce the cost, but it will cause the chemical composition of the building aluminum profile to be unqualified, and seriously endanger the safety of the construction project.
